Compostable film is not a drop-in replacement for polythene, and treating it like one is how good intentions turn into a failed production run.
We extrude and convert compostable biopolymer film for customers who need packaging that goes into an organic waste stream rather than a recycling one. It runs differently from LDPE — different processing window, different seal behaviour, different shelf life — so we trial it rather than assume it.
Where compostable is genuinely the right answer we will make it. Where a recycled LDPE blend would serve the product better and still satisfy the policy, we will say that instead.
